WordPress Themes and Plugins issues / WordPress theme installation f...

I am trying to install one commercial theme but I received the following error:

Theme installation fails with error "The package could not installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet."

-----------------

I am trying to install it from WordPress admin area. How can I fix this?

Hi,

I have recently upgrade by WordPress website and now my drop down menu is stopped working. I did not receive any error message while upgrading the version and it was upgraded successfully.

Also, I am using latest version for all installed plugin. Just my theme is old and there is no updates since long for that. What could the the issue?

Hi,

Is it possible to install WordPress locally on your machine? I don't want this to be accessible on the public web. This site will be for a company intranet. Once created, then is it possible to move the folder with all the files to a network folder that employees have access to, and then they can use the link to access the WordPress intranet?

WordPress 5.9.1 was released on February 22, 2022.

This maintenance release features 82 bug fixes in both Core and the block editor.

WordPress 5.9.1 is a short-cycle maintenance release. The next major release will be version 6.0.

You can upgrade it from your WordPress admin area or you can download it from wordpress.org. To upgrade it from your admin area, visit your Dashboard → Updates and click "Update Now".
